These now fall under “Xbox Everywhere,” an umbrella term for its up-and-coming ecosystem, breaking away from traditional console hardware. Microsoft continues to push Xbox Cloud Gaming as its next major innovation, streaming Xbox games over the internet with low latency, in tandem with its Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Microsoft has also confirmed plans to launch a streaming-only Xbox device further down the line, internally dubbed Xbox “Keystone,” posing a more affordable entry point into the Xbox ecosystem.

Microsoft focused its Sunday showing on the “next 12 months of Xbox,” with appearances from anticipated Xbox games launching in early 2023. The event discussed everything Xbox owners could look forward to in 2022 and beyond, with updates on the latest projects from Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Twitter user TWTHEREDDRAGON (via iamalitayyeb) posted confirmation from Bloomberg News reporter Jason Schreier, who said Hevy008 is a verified former Bethesda employee.This year’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase has now wrapped, presenting over 90 minutes of news and trailers for upcoming Xbox games. The lightning and other visuals are coming together and it’s a “ good looking game," according to the former dev, but it’s not at the same level as Horizon Forbidden West. Hevy008 claimed that Starfield has been playtested every Thursday since the beginning of 2022, and though the game is “ looking good” and the “ shooting feels alright,” the Creation Engine 2 is “ crap.” The former Bethesda employee, who listed themselves as a Character Artist, went on to say that the flying was not fun either. While the former employee praised the work environment and described Todd Howard as charismatic, they did leak a few details regarding Starfield’s current state of development. The limited content Bethesda has released suggests that Starfield is in a strong state and will be ready for release on November 11, 2022.
The screenshots have come a long way, especially if the leaked images from 2018 are to be believed. Many of Starfield’s official screenshots do showcase detailed textures and clean graphics while simultaneously demonstrating a diverse range of immersive environments.
